Melbourne Australia-based developer Tin Man Games has just dropped the price on each of their Gamebook Adventures series of apps to $2.99 each for a limited time (of course). If you are unfamiliar with the series, they are a choose your own adventure-style game with RPG elements, set in the ever expanding world of Orlandes.

If you’ve been at all curious about these titles, now’s your chance to pick up one (or pick them all up) at a $2 savings per title. It doesn’t matter where you start in the series, as each is its own experience, but should you go through each book in order there are some subtle references to previous characters and places to reward the regular series fans. These are universal apps, so buy it once and you can play it on any of your iDevices in their native resolution.

For more information about the series, I highly recommend listening to the great interview with Tin Man Games’ development team (Neil Rennison and Ben Britten Smith) on this week’s episode of The Portable Podcast, where they discuss the origins of the series and the Australian iOS development scene.
