Dire Wolf Digital has just announced that The Mummy’s Curse, their 2018 expansion to Clank! will soon be getting the digital treatment.

Arriving just in time to help kick off the 10th anniversary of Clank! A Deck-Building Adventure, this new expansion to the digital game brings adventurers to the scorching hot desert, with new treasures waiting to be plundered from pyramids and palaces! But best be on your guard, because there’s more than one guardian protecting the treasure this time: in addition to Croxobek —the new dragon who’s none too thrilled to see treasure seekers wandering about — you’ll also have to contend against a shambling, undead jerk who loves handing out bad vibes. Go in quick, get out fast, and watch your step, or face the wrath of The Mummy’s Curse!

With new maps, forty new dungeon cards, a new dragon and other monsters protecting the treasure and a new curse token gameplay element and new digital-exclusive content including: “nine new Challenges await, each with their own unique rules and win conditions — as well as ‘heroic’ variants for players who really want to put their tomb raiding to the test!”

For the full details of this exciting sounding digital expansion…check out Dire Wolf’s website.

No release date or pricing has been announced yet, but Clank’s other expansion, Sunken Treasures (which was released in physical form in 2017) got a digital port last May at a price tag of $8.99.

I’m hoping that maybe I’ll be able to get a sneak peek of The Mummy’s Curse later this month at PAX East (if it still hasn’t been released by then).

Dire Wolf always seems to have some digital project in active development…so now that both of the original game’s expansions will soon to be released, hopefully they will set their sights on Clank’s standalone sequel, Clank! Catacombs for a digital port as well.

Clank! Digital is available on Steam, iOS and Android.
