After a successful beta for Kickstarter backers and two months run on Steam Early Access, Dire Wolf Digital has launched the digital version of Clank! on both iOS and Android.
After 8 long years, fans of Dire Wolf’s award-winning adventure deck-building game CLANK!, can finally play it digitally on their PCs and mobile devices (and cross-platform as well). It looks like Dire Wolf has put their usual flourishes and polish on the game, elevating it above just a port of a physical board game into a full unique digital experience.
They are easily one of my favorite digital board game publishers and their apps are always amazing. While I was tempted to pick this up for my Steam Deck, I was holding out to grab it on iOS instead….now is that time!

A New Adventure Begins!
The dragon’s lair is just waiting to be plundered – but only if you’re sneaky enough to avoid her wrath!
Clank! challenges players to take on the role of daring thieves, infiltrating a dragon’s lair and stealing precious artifacts. But be careful, because one false step, and – CLANK! – you might just catch the attention of a very grumpy dragon! Burgle your way to victory by snagging the best loot and escaping out of the dungeon before it’s too late!
How Deep Will You Delve?
Snagging lesser artifacts makes it easier to escape, but play it too safe and you’ll get out-burgled by other players! Will you push your luck by going down deeper for the more valuable ones instead?
Whoever snags the most riches from the dragon’s lair will win the game, but adventurers be warned: the deeper down into the Depths you go, the harder it is to climb back out! The most valuable loot in the world isn’t worth anything at all if you’ve become dragon barbecue – will you risk it all going down deep for the best treasures, or will you play it safe by going for less valuable artifacts and giving yourself a better chance to get out alive?
Choose Your Path by Building Your Deck
Every turn, you’ll choose new cards to add to your deck. What kind of strategy will you prioritize?
The cards in your hand will determine what you can do in the dungeon, and every turn, you’re adding more to your deck! Boots allow you to move around, swords let you fight monsters, and skill allows you to acquire better cards. Most cards will generate one or more of these resources, and it’s up to you to decide what to prioritize! With the potential to build diverse strategies based on the deck you build, no two games of Clank! will ever feel the same.
Push Your Luck, But Don’t Get Burned
Every time the dragon attacks, random cubes are drawn representing different players, and every Clank! adds more of your color to the pool. Be sneaky unless you want to become a dragon’s lunch!
A word of caution, ye thieves: dragons aren’t keen on adventurers stealing their treasure, and this one will frequently be trying to roast intruders in her lair! Every card with a Clank! increases your likelihood of getting targeted during dragon attacks, and if your HP reaches zero, it’s game over! Some of the most powerful cards make a lot of noise – will you choose to push your luck by adding them to your deck?

Clank: Digital provides several ways to experience the classic game in brand new flavors. Play with friends across the globe, take on Challenges with unique rules, and more.
