Noodlecake’s Super Stickman Golf 2 was one of my favorite iOS games of 2013 and now, nearly a year after its release the developers are still supporting the game and about to release a big new free update.
Listening to their fans requests the studio has come up with a pile of new features and (and a few new courses) that will add even more fun and challenge to this outrageous take on golf.
First up is Turn Based Chat, now players can trash talk one another while out on the course or take the high road and congratulate their opponent on an impressive shot.
Golf is a game of skill, luck, finesse and flair, so why not “pimp out your balls with some new Ball Trails“.
Finally if you hate that Turn Based name that you chose way back when, you can now choose a new one.
But wait…there’s more…
NEW COURSES!!! Noodlecake is adding a Super Meat Boy course to the game (which looks appropriately tough) as well as two more standard SSG style courses, Gears Land and Implausible Land and Space Land, a course which we’ve been told “really changes things up a bit” with its ZERO Gravity.
If that wasn’t already enough, Noodlecake is making Super Stickman Golf 2 FREE FOR A LIMITED TIME and has more updates planned for the game in 2014. If you want to read the full (humor-filled press release, you can check it out here).
The update (and price drop) should be available sometime tomorrow (or possibly tonight after 11pm EST).
Listen to some sweet tunes…
The Super Stickman Golf 2 Soundtrack (featuring original music by Whitaker Trebella, Vito Biliti, Jordan Trask, Danny Baranowsky and Jordan Schidlowsky) has also just been released for purchase and free streaming on Bandcamp.
