In honor of the upcoming 4th of July holiday, Subatomic Studios has just dropped the price of both the iPhone and iPad releases of their top-notch tower defense sequel, Fieldrunners 2.
In 2008 the original Fieldrunners for the iPhone surprised and delighted iOS gamers and quickly became the de facto standard for tower defense games on the platform. Last year Subatomic Studios upped the ante with a bigger and better sequel that was easily one of the best games of the year, once again raising the bar for the genre.
If you don’t own this game yet, YOU SHOULD. Unfortunately it is not a universal app, so if you have an iPad or iPad mini, that is definitely the way to go, but no matter which platform you choose, Fieldrunners 2 is a game that is not to be missed.
