Kings Group held a massive competition as part of the celebration of Guns of Glory’s third anniversary. After more than 3000 entries, all of whom went through a three-stage submission process, and some difficult deliberation, we can now reveal who the developer picked to win the amazing prizes on offer.
The first prize of $20,000 and the role of Glory Ambassador was awarded to YouTuber Aevatrex. The Glory Ambassador will act as a voice for the game’s massive and growing community. Second prize went to the YouTuber NotCasuals, who earned $10,000. Third prize, and $5000, went to another YouTuber, Keychain Gaming.
Another part of the celebration saw players submitting their own memes to the Guns of Glory Facebook and Discord groups. These showed off the connections and memories gamers have made during their time with the game. There were in-game events too, and a special castle skin to collect as well.
Moving forwards, community is going to be a massive focus for Kings Group, with the new Glory Ambassador playing a big part in that. “We hope that through working with the Glory Ambassador, we will find new ways to connect with our amazing community. Three years is just the beginning for Guns of Glory, we hope that the game can last for years to come reaching our ten-year anniversary and beyond,” said the game’s publishing producer.
Guns of Glory has been downloaded more than 80 million times since it first came out, and has been sitting in the top three of the mobile strategy charts since 2018. The game sees you collecting resources and fighting battles in a world that mixes fantasy, baroque and steampunk stylings into something really unique and special. There are awesome airships, massive castles and monstrous creatures as well.
