Last week was a busy one in the world of sports and entertainment with the release of Avengers Age of Ultron at the box office and the NFL Draft, the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight and the Kentucky Derby.
However, we are not here to talk about all of that, fortunately, it was also a big week for Apple, with its latest earnings report. We start this week’s show with a discussion of Apple’s previous quarter and a follow-up on Trevor’s experiences with his Apple Watch.
Next we ask a few questions regarding the timeliness of Mattel’s official Magic 8 Ball™ app.
As for games, we finally see Halfbrick launch Bears vs. Art after over a year in soft launch…was it worth the wait? They we look at Game Oven’s final iOS title, the unique water-based roguelike, Jelly Reef where you play as the ocean, and Crescent Moon Games’ latest publishing effort, the light chess-like turn-based roguelike, Microgue.
And finally, to round the episode out with a look at the latest licensed MARVEL mobile game, MARVEL Future Fight.
