As we impatiently bide our time, waiting for the big September 9th iPhone announcement, there isn’t much Apple news to talk about, so we dive right into the new apps and games.
First up, we discuss Tom Hanks’ retro typewriter note taking app, Hanx Writer and we look at an easy new way to create your own legal postage stamps right from your iPhone (without a Stamps.com subscription) thanks to the app 20Stamps.
On the games front, we enjoy Phoenix Wright’s latest crazy courtroom antics in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies, buckle up for the quick car-crashing fun of Pako – Car Chase Simulator, see if Origin8 still has the tower defense chops with Sentinel 4: Dark Star and express our confusion over Apple’s Editor’s choice award for the free-to-play matching game Spellfall™ – Puzzle RPG.
And I couldn’t end the episode w/o expressing my love of White Wizard Games’ deckbuilding delight that is Star Realms.
