Batman Kicks off ComiXology’s Summer Reading List Event w/ 20 Days of Free Digital Comics

SEP100165_3Earlier today, ComiXology kicked off the first day of a 20-day event they are calling “The ComiXology Summer Reading List” in which they will be giving away a new FREE digital comic each day.

The first of the 20 free titles is Detective Comics (1937-2011) #871, which contains the first part of “The Black Mirror” Batman storyline, written by Scott Snyder.

“A series of brutal murders pushes Batman’s detective skills to the limit and forces him to confront one of Gotham City’s oldest evils. Plus, when a figure from the past returns to Gotham, Jim Gordon must face some of his darkest demons.”

If you know a friend or family member who you think would like any particular day’s comic, you can can always gift it to them as well.
