This week was an awesome week for iOS gamers app-wise and next week we get to see the new hardware.
Now that we’ve seen the official invite, Trevor and I kick of this week’s podcast with a bit more discussion of what we can expect from Apple’s iPad event early next week.
We also talk about several recent camera and video apps: Cameo, ProCamera 7 and Spark Camera as well as the automatic journaling app Rove and Square’s new, free way to send money to friends, Square Cash.
One the games front there were some really steallar new releases including Simogo’s absolutely fantastic new feast for the senses, DEVICE 6, Crescent Moon Game’s clever canine puzzler Mimpi and the excellent re-release of 33rd Division. Finally we also take a look at Warner Bros. unexpectedly early free-to-play release, Batman: Arkham Origins.
And finally, a reminder of all of the app sales going on the weekend, MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THESE OUT, as there are loads of great FREE and sale titles to be had.
