ProClip has just announced that their first series of iPhone 4 Holders are now available for pre-order on their website. This first series of holders are for the iPhone 4 without a case and the Adjustable holders are for the iPhone 4 with 3rd party cases/skins. Note: These Adjustable holders won’t work with Apple’s Official iPhone 4 Bumper cases.
Additional series of holders are in the works, including ones custom designed for the iPhone 4 with the Official Apple Bumper Case, as well as holders with a horizontal support bracket, great for use with Navigation Software! These will work in an upright position and horizontal position.
As with all ProClip mounts, it is a two part solution. First you must purchase a vehicle-specific mount that guarantees a perfect fit to your vehicle. These range in price depending on where you plan to mount the unit, (vent, dash, radio, etc) and the make/model of vehicle. The second piece, is the holder itself which currently ranges from $34.99 to $79.99 for the first series of iPhone 4 holders.
My brother has several of these for his previous iPhones and other miscellaneous devices (GPS, satellite radio, iPod Touch) and swears by them. I myself, am really looking forward to the upcoming models that also support the bumper.

ProClip now has a special Tilt/Swivel holder which supports the iPhone 4 with Apple’s Official Bumper Case available for pre-order ($34.99) as well.
Below is an explanation from the folks at ProClip regarding the special requirements of supporting the Bumper-wearing iPhone 4 which have delayed the release of these holders.
The bumper case is more rounded compared to the other cases and has no backing in the case. This design needs to have a separate holder. The other problem we have with the bumper case is the size of the Charging Port opening. Our cables(Griffin) and other 3rd party charging cables do not fit in the bumper case opening. The only cable that fits is the original USB cable that came with the iPhone 4. We have designed a holder that is not adjustable but is the perfect fit for the iPhone with a bumper case.
We are redesigning our charging cables and pass-through connector to have these kind of holders available for the iPhone 4 with Bumper Case in the near future. This re-design process takes 4-6 weeks.
The estimated shipping date for the Apple iPhone 4 with Original Bumper Case – Holder with Tilt Swivel is July 23 – 2010. We’ll be sure to let you know when the holders supporting pass through and bumper become available.
