It doesn’t look like I’ll be getting much sleep tonight…way too much temptation to stay up late with a huge crop of entertaining new iOS releases on the horizon.
From highly anticipated Summer releases including Walking Dead: The Game and Spy vs. Spy to a trio of treats from Chillingo, there are plenty of new gaming experiences to choose from.
Watch the trailers below, clear off some space on your iDevices and let us know which of these fresh apps you’ll be scooping up tonight at 11pm EST.

Worm vs Birds

A new release Thursday just isn’t complete without a Chillingo published, avian-themed physics puzzle game, so here it is. Fire your worms, each of which is armed with a special ball, to knock the feathers off the birds. What is it with Chillingo and birds?! I think they may be a bit obsessed with our feathered friends.

Car Toons! / Car Toons! HD

This is the latest title from FDG Entertainment, a physics-puzzle game that looks like it plays a lot like Saving Private Sheep, but with a humorous collection of cars, each with their own personality and attributes.

A frenetic physics-based balance game, complete with wise-cracking buckets, or as the developer dubs it, “lame-proof humor woven throughout hundreds of funny interactions between the characters, minions and the bosses.”.

ORC: Vengeance

The final title in Chillingo’s triple-threat, ORC: Vengeance is an eye-catching original Action RPG for the iOS platforms. I don’t really even play action RPGs, but this one’s got me excited.

Walking Dead: The Game
$4.99
|
Once again, my most anticipated title happens to be the last, Telltale’s release of the first episode of the Walking Dead adventure game for iOS. Console and PC gamers are already up to episode 2, but now it’s the mobile gamers’ turn. If you are a fan of the comic book or television series, you’ll definitely want to be grabbing this one for $4.99! Just remember, the choices that you make in episode one, will have a direct (and unique) effect on the events of episode 2…so choose wisely.
