At SQUARE ENIX’s E3 press conference, Patrick Naud, Head of Studio at SQUARE ENIX Montréal, took the stage to give a sneak peek at the next mobile title coming from the studio, Lara Croft GO.
As they’ve shown with the releases of Hitman GO and Hitman: Sniper, his studio’s ambition is to take some of SQUARE ENIX’s most popular console IPs and “craft fresh, premium award-winning experiences designed specifically for mobile and tablet”.
With that in mind, SQUARE ENIX Montréal has revealed that it is currently working its next game in the ‘GO’ franchise, Lara Croft GO. The game will star everyone’s favorite female adventurer in an all new game puzzle game specifically designed for mobile and featuring a unique new art style.
It’s Lara Croft as you’ve never seen her before…a turn-based experience set in a long forgotten world, delivering gorgeous visuals, mesmerizing soundtrack and challenging gameplay on your fingertips.
No release timeframe was given, but the game is looking great!
