CTR2_screenshot_ipad_3_enAfter months of teasers, ZeptoLab® has finally released the first gameplay trailer and detailed information about their upcoming puzzle platformer sequel, Cut the Rope 2: Om Nom’s Unexpected Adventure™.

The ‘Om Nom’ is out of the box (quite literally) this time he’s adventuring through the forest, junkyard, city park and even underground to get his candy fix. The game features 120 levels of new challenges and gameplay elements “including the ability to interact with Om Nom and move him on-screen for the very first time”. Cut the Rope 2 also introduces a new cast of characters known as the Nommies, who have special characteristics that Om Nom can utilize to reach his sweets.

“With Cut the Rope 2, we’ve taken Cut the Rope to the next level, creating a game that not only does justice to the original, but enhances the experience in every possible way,” said Misha Lyalin, ZeptoLab CEO. “It’s literally and figuratively a huge leap for Om Nom as he ventures out into the world for the first time.”

This brilliant looking sequel be launching (initially as an iOS exclusive) next Thursday, December 19th as a universal app (YAY!) with a launch price of only 99¢!
