Well, here we are, just about an hour away from another batch of Thursday new releases…

Starting things off, Chillingo and Colorbox are back again this week with new games to entertain you. Chillingo launches Poker Pals in four separate flavors (separate paid and ad-supported) releases on the iPhone and iPad. All four versions will work with one another, allowing you to play Chillingo’s all-new variant of poker against your friends anytime, anywhere, asynchronously via Game Center. I’ll definitely be picking this one up, so feel free to challenge me to a game (@OTGGamer).

The second title coming from Chillingo is The Moogies. It’s an entertaining looking app for kids aged 2 to 6 in which they can make a phone call to any of the nine Moogies and listen as they talk back and interact with them. Meanwhile, Colorbox releases Sad Robot, a retro tilt-controlled vertical scroller.

Speaking of tilt-based controls, if you are into tilt-controls, there are a number of other new titles arriving tonight which utilize this control scheme. Sybo Games’ Cosmic Cab sounds like it combines elements of Crazy Taxi with a traditional tilt-based 3D tunnel run game. Fan Studio is releasing a universal version of their popular traffic control time management game titled TrafficVille HD. Finally, there is Ayopa Games’ Chicken Rescue, a cute looking family friendly arcade game in which you must guide Mama Chicken, avoiding trees, barrels, hungry pigs, and dangerous ledges while trying to find her lost chicks.

Motorbike stunt games seem to be getting a lot of attention these past couple of weeks, with DanLabGames’ DynaStunts being the latest title in the stunt bike genre to appear on the App Store. Sporting a series of power-ups, DynaStunts may bring something new to the genre.

Last, but certainly not least is the much anticipated iOS port of the award winning indie game Aquaria, brought to you by the same guys behind Canabalt, Semi Secret Software.

Explore a massive underwater world, teeming with life and filled with secrets. Join Naija, a lonely and mysterious aquatic girl, as she explores the depths of Aquaria. As her story unravels, she’ll travel from hidden caves shrouded in darkness, to beautiful sunlit oases.

Sporting stunning visuals, touch controls specifically tailored for the iPad and 20+ hours of gameplay, this looks to be the most impressive and must-have title of the bunch!
