Barry Steakfries, the hero of Halfbrick Studio’s Monster Dash will be back in action on Thursday, when the studio releases Age of Zombies, their second title featuring this cool named hero! Unlike Monster Dash, which was a shining star in the “endurance run” genre, Age of Zombies is a dual-stick shooter in similar vein as Chillingo’s Guerilla Bob or Minigore.
As you can see in the recently released trailer below, Age of Zombies looks like a lot of fun and will surely be another monster hit (no pun intended) for Halfbrick, which has seen much success with previously released titles Fruit Ninja and Monster Dash.
Age of Zombies appears to be a “prequel” to Monster Dash and follows Barry Steakfries as he travels through time, “blasting faces, heads and zombie junk. There is no shortage of dudes to kill, including ninjas, mummies, cavemen and even the legendary Zombie T-Rex!” The game will be released worldwide on October 28th, 2010 as a universal app.
