G5 Entertainment sent us over some information regarding their three recently released iPad titles as well as Virtual City, an upcoming title for both the iPad and iPhone. Other than the higher fidelity graphics, the three currently available titles (Stand O’Food HD, Mahjongg Artifacts HD, and Paranormal Agency HD) don’t appear to offer any new iPad specific content over the previously released iPhone versions of these same titles. Although G5 does mention that Paranormal Agency HD may offer a more pleasurable experience compared to the iPhone version of the game since the larger screen makes it so you no longer need to zoom in and out looking for hidden objects, as all the details are visible from the overview of the scenes. The HD titles currently sell for $2.00 more than their iPhone predecessors, leaving it up to the consumer to decide if the higher resolution graphics warrant the additional cost.

This title will be hitting the App Store sometime within the next couple of weeks for both the iPhone and iPad. In Virtual City, players build and develop a city using more than 50 types of buildings including dozens of residential homes and industries. Once your plans are in place its up to you to keep your citizens happy with parks, cinemas, stadiums and events. You’ll also be in charge of waste management, public transportation, economic development a disaster management.
