Blacksmith Games, the gracious benefactor/developer behind the enourmously popular Appvent Calendar free game promotion, has just announced that they have submitted their debut title Plushed to the Apple review board. So if all goes well, perhaps this too will be appearing on the Appvent Calendar? We certainly hope so!
Plushed is a great looking platformer which takes place in a fairytale world in which players take on the role of a plushie bunny who must battle his way through evildoers, to save the princess. As you can see in the screenshots and trailer below, the hand-drawn graphics and sound are really well done. This is a title we’ve been watching closely for quite some time now, well before the Appvent Calendar brought Blacksmith Games to the attention of thousands of iPod and iPhone users. We really hope it’s a success for Blacksmith Games. There is a good chance that we will be able to get an early peek at the title, and if so, we’ll share our impressions here.
