Like a death row prisoner waiting for a last minute pardon from the Governor, Tin Man Games waited with baited-breath to find out if the Halloween-themed version of their popular Frootrees game would get Apple’s nod of approval before the Holiday for which it was created.

We’re happy to report that the game was released late last night and it’s just as fun (if not even a little more challenging) as the original. The gameplay is identical as the original Frootrees game, but instead of apples, pears, plums and oranges, we have pumpkins, bats, skulls and rotten bloody apples to sort. This time the game takes place at night, making the bats a bit more difficult to spot and thus increasing the difficulty-level.

If you enjoyed the original Frootrees, then you’ll definitely love the new Frootrees Halloween Edition. It will definitely help get you in the spirit of the Holiday. Both the original Frootrees and the new Halloween Edition are available from the App Store for $0.99 each.
