This Thursday, indie development studio Mediocre Games is set to release their debut iOS puzzle game titled Sprinkle.

As you can see in the video below, it appears that you must use a cherry picker with attached fire hose to try and put out a series of fires in this level-based game. The controls look to be a mix of touch gestures to raise, lower and tilt the hose, with score based on the amount of water used. The graphics look wonderful, almost Little Big Planet-like.

I’ve reached out to the folks at Mediocre for some more details and will update this post once I have them. It sounds like it will be a universal app and will also be available on Android as well. Mediocre Games also has a Facebook page setup for Sprinkle which may offer more information.
