Today, publisher Chillingo (now a division of Electronic Arts Inc), announced that ZeptoLab’s excellent physics-based puzzle game, ‘Cut the Rope™’ has now sold more than the three million units worldwide on the App Store. The company also released the following video which gives a sneak peak at the game’s first free update, which will be coming soon.
The v1.1 update introduces an all-new 25 level pack called the “Cosmic Box’.
“This spaceship-themed box introduces the lovable green monster [Om Nom] to a unique anti-gravity feature that turns physics upside down as Om Nom peers through the box’s portholes to see a planet rotating in the distance. The popular game will also bring enhanced retina display graphics, improved scoring accuracy, more expressive Om Nom animations, new musical sounds plus 11 new achievements.”

Cut the Rope is currently available for 99¢ (iPhone and iPod Touch) and a $1.99 (iPad) from the App Store. Free lite versions are also available for both the iPhone and iPad as well.
