After teasing us with “launching soon” way back in November 2024, Roxley Games has finally revealed some details and a definitive date for the long-anticipated Kickstarter campaign for a digital release of Dice Throne.
A video released on their YouTube channel states that the campaign will be launching on April 14th.
Supported platforms include iOS/Android, Steam, and Meta Quest.
Unfortunately no additional information regarding pricing, game features or release date(s) has been revealed yet, but they did say that it will support cross-platform play.
The development team behind the project is Nerd Ninjas, who previously worked with Naintic on Pokémon GO and they developed the digital deckbuilder Battle Train as well as several VR titles, including Board Gamelandia.
I am super-excited for this one, as I still haven’t managed to get Dice Throne to the table even though I own the complete MARVEL set. However, I did get a chance to play a 2 v. 2 game of this during one of the Game Nights at PAX East last year.
It’ll be so much easier to find people to play against online…can’t wait to have Dice Throne gracing my iPad (and Steam Deck).
