The Android version of Wargaming’s World of Tanks Blitz has finally been released – rejoice!
World of Tanks Blitz is the mobile version of the PC game that’s been around for just over four years. This is no simple port, however. It’s been built from the ground up with mobile in mind featuring a visual overhaul and well-executed touchscreen controls.
You can also battle against your friends with iPhones right away thanks to cross-platform play. Be warned, though, they do have a six month head start on you.
It’s the perfect game to play on your commute to work, with a typical 7v7 battle lasting only a brief period of time. There are ten arenas to battle in with over 100 different iconic tanks from Great Britain, Germany, United States and USSR to choose from.
Though the game is free to download, there are a few in-app purchases available, but don’t worry, none of these will give you an advantage over a non-paying opponent.
There are plenty of planned updates and graphic improvements to help to complete an already impressive free-to-play package. Until then, the real life physics, detailed tutorials, and a host of in-game achievements will impress and keep you busy.
Don’t hesitate and head on over to Google Play [download] or the App Store [download] to download your copy of World of Tanks Blitz entirely for free.
