It’s 11pm EST on another Wednesday night, which means one thing to iOS gamers…FRESH MEAT!
Yep, lots of new games to load up on those shiny new iPhone 5s, including a classic PC port to dual titles from Chillingo and Zephyr Games. There is also new pigskin action from Gameloft and a couple of successful Kickstarters finally releasing their apps.
Let us know which of these titles you’ll be picking up in the comments section below.

G5 takes a big departure from their usual hidden object fare with this free-to-play level-based physics puzzle game. The game itself is free, but there are loads of power ups available as in-app purchases. Until we get some hands-on time, it is unclear just how necessary these power ups are, but the game looks fun.

I seem to recall that there was some other title that combined zombies and tower defense, and that worked out pretty well, so I suspect thatChillingo will do just fine with Dead Stop™, especially as we head into October.

God of Blades

Another product of a successful Kickstarter Campaign, this is a side-scrolling sword-fighting platformer. I played an early build of this and it was fun, but a little rough, so I’m curious to see how it has changed in the months since I saw it last as it showed some nice potential.

The Last Express

Finally we have a title from DotEmu, doing what they do best…porting over a classic. This is a port of the award-winning 1997 PC adventure game from the creator of Prince of Persia. I’m embarrassed to admit I never played the PC release (especially since I was a PC gamer back then), but I think I may finally check this one out (on the iPad). I’ve heared it mentioned quite a few times over the past 15 years.
