Cobypic Starter Book
Free

This is a fun coloring app for kids with a twist. Instead of just selecting a color from a tray, your child captures the colors using the camera on his or her iDevice. My 5 year-old Emily got to play an early build of this app and she absolutely loves it. She excitedly runs about the house finding things to use for colors.
I highly recommend this freebie and I’ve been told an expanded paid version is still in review with Apple.

This RPG/puzzle game featuring what almost looks like a young Lara Croft, offers up some rather amazing looking visuals. No idea if it plays as good as it looks, but it certainly grabbed my attention.
|
A mysterious looking puzzle game for the iPad, The Room appears to challenge your wits, while offering a few chills.

DEMONS’ SCORE
$6.99
|
An interesting looking departure from SQUARE ENIX’s usual mobile fare, this is a rhythm fighting game in which you “battle demons in time to the rhythm”. While at first it may seem inexpensive (by Square’s standards) it looks like there is quite a bit of $2.99 IAPs which may spoil the experience for some. Hey at least it’s a universal app.
