Today (April 2nd) is World Autism Awareness Day.
To celebrate the event, a number of iOS app developers are offering BIG discounts on their apps, some of which are completely FREE!
Whether it be yourself, a family member, co-worker or friend, I think you’d be hard pressed to find anyone who has not been effected by Autism in some way.
Today is the day that we try to raise awareness across the world with unique fundraising events. Across the globe, app developers have either reduced the prices of their Apps, or are offering to donate portions of today’s sales to Autism Awareness.
Here is a the list of 50+ participating apps that we found listed on the iautism.info website. The majority of these titles have been specifically designed for children and adults with Autism to aid them with skills like communication, scheduling, expressing emotions and behavior.
However, other popular app developers like Toca Boca are showing their support for the cause by reducing the prices of one or more of their apps as well.
