Here ‘s your (sometimes) weekly look at the App Store’s new Thursday releases (arriving at 11pm EST tonight).
Once again, it looks like a strong Thursday showing with some of the usual contenders like Gameloft and Chillingo’s Clickgamer.com.
Keeping true to their word about ONLY releasing universal apps going forward, Gameloft launches the beautiful looking third title in its Modern Combat series, Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation.
Other highlight’s include loads of casual physics-based games like FDG Entertainment’s Blosics, Clickgamer.com’s Candy Town, SpinTrip, and Saving Moo. Rounding out the casual puzzle fare is Ninja Pong, Colorbox’s Peak Gold, Puppy Punch Productions’ Chicken Coup Remix and the iOS debut of Fugazo’s World Mosaics franchise.
Looking for something for nothing? For a limited time you can grab Lakoo’s new RPG, Dawn of Magic absolutely FREE. WayForward Technologies releases a completely remastered iOS port of their highly-rated Nintendo DSiWare platformer Shantae: Risky’s Revenge for a launch price of $2.99. And for the adrenaline-junkies there is Voon’s Zen Warrior, Vector Unit’s Riptide GP and the iPhone release of Flick Tennis: College Wars.
