To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Green Eggs and Ham (one of my daughter’s favorites), Oceanhouse Media has dropped the price of all of their Dr. Seuss apps by 50% for a limited time. If you haven’t checked out any of these books before, you are in for a real treat. All Oceanhouse Media’s Dr. Seuss eBooks are designed as universal apps that can be used on the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch (in their native resolutions) for no additional charge. These apps also include special high-resolution graphics for the iPhone 4 /4th Gen iPod Touch Retina display.
As I found out when using the Hop on Pop app with my daughter, theae are the full versions of the books, nit the edited versions that come as kid’s board books. Not only are they more complete and less expensive than their board book counterparts, but they are very high quality and offer multiple ways of experiencing the book:
- Read to Me — listen to the narrated story with words highlighted as they are read
- Read it Myself — read the book in its traditional form
- Auto Play— plays like a movie, automatically reading and turning pages. (Perfect for younger children!)
