In case you haven’t already noticed, the iOS 4.1 update is now available for download, so just plug in your iDevice and fire up iTunes. As previously announced in Apple’s recent Fall keynote, this update adds Game Center Support (for all iOS 4-compatible devices except iPhone 3G owners), High Dynamic Range (HDR) photos (on iPhone 4 only), and finally it will let iPhone 4 owners to upload HD video to MobileMe and YouTube.
Finally this update also address the proximity sensor issues, and the sluggish performance felt by iPhone 3G owners who upgraded to iOS 4.0. All new 4th gen iPod Touches (arriving at retail stores and pre-order customer’s homes today) are shipping with iOS 4.1 already pre-installed.
Game Center updates are slowly rolling out for titles supporting this new “official” social gaming platform.
