Canadian developer Rocket 5 Project has just submitted their upcoming motocross arcade racing game, Giant Moto, to the App Store for review.
The game looks very much like a 3D version of Nintendo’s ExciteBike and features a selection of 6 different tracks (with more coming in future updates) and 4 cycle/rider colors. Unfortunately, it appears to be single-player only, so no racing against your friends, but the game will have AI opponents with 3 difficulty settings (easy, normal, hard). Rocket 5 promises a realistic physics engine and as you’ll see in the clip below, the game has some really impressive graphics and motocross sounds. From what we can tell, Giant Moto will be a very cool and worthy update to a retro classic.
Expect a full review once we can get our fingers on this one.
