Tiny Wings, BADLAND, Infinity Blade II, Where’s My Water? and More Go Free On iOS For First Time Ever!

What an amazing after the 4th of July sale this is turning out to be!

What I first thought was just the iOS classic Tiny Wings going FREE for the first time ever on iOS is quickly becoming one of the best free iOS App Sales we’ve seen in a while with the list of freebies expanding to include the amazing atmospheric platformer BADLAND, Disney’s Where’s My Water?, Infinity Blade II and more!

Our friends at 148Apps are speculating that this could be “an early leak of an App Store giveaway to celebrate the 5th Anniversary”.

UPDATE:

July 10th marks the 5 year Anniversary of the Apple App Store and Apple has now confirmed these recent price drops are part of the App Store 5 Year Celebration sale with the following statement:

From the 500 apps available at launch in 2008 to the more than 900,000 at your fingertips today, it’s been a remarkably prolific five years for the App Store. To celebrate, we’re giving everyone five landmark games and five groundbreaking apps for a limited time. Plus, look back at the key momemnts that have made the App Store the world’s most innovative destination for apps.
