In a week capped off with huge iPad App sales celebrating Friday’s iPad 2 Launch, we still saw a large number of quality new releases this week. New and current iPad owners get some of the most anticipated titles, including the HD version of Firemint’s very popular Real Racing 2 and TAITO’s New Bust-A-Move HD.
Casual gamers get a wide variety of choices, from platformer (Squid Kid) to matching (Super Block Party), physics games (EA’s Liqua Pop, Grenade Warrior, Smoody, Land-a-Panda), to arcade high scorers (Tiny Planet). There is even a rhythm game (DJ Rivals).
Want a little monsters and mayhem…look no further than Chillingo’s Painkiller Purgatory, Tuokio’s Raiding Company and GOJOY’s Ninja VS Zombies. Retro fans can thank Gamevil for KAMI RETRO, DotEmu for 64th Street – A Detective Story and Slick Entertainment for a racing game that looks rather appealing to at least this Super Off Road fan.
