Egg Ball, with Atmospheriques, have just announced its next game on iPhone and iPod Touch will be a tie-in with the release of French DJ Missill’s second album “Kawaii”. For those of you unfamiliar with Missill, she is a talented DJ, graphic designer, graffiti artist and producer from Paris, France.
The details we received were a bit vague, but the game, titled, Missill KAWAII will be coming to the iPhone and iPod Touch in early 2011. It will feature Missill’s signature 8-bit pixel art style graphics and Game Center you will play as Missill and attempt to “save the world” by saving your Bubblies friends. Players will immerse themselves in the sounds of Missill, across a variety of different environments while saving the prisoners from the clutches of the evil Terrible Square and his henchmen. This game takes the “colorful and pungent graphics” of Missill’s world and accompanies them with exclusive sounds and remixes of her next album.
According to Missill’s Facebook page, her next single, INVINCIBLE, is due to drop on January 17th, so I suspect we’ll see the game sometime around then.
