Brett,These games look great for kids, but they're a little to young for my 10 year old nephew. Do you have any recommendations for multiplayer games that parents can play with kids? So far they're tough to find.Any help is appreciated!
Hi Matt, Here are just a few thoughts off the top of my head.If you'll be playing on a single device, then there are some games that support pass and play-style gameplay. Some of the EA boardgame apps like The Game of Life or Monopoly (Classic) could be fun if you are out and about, or just don't want to deal with setting up a full boardgame. You could also take turns playing a drawing game like Charadium or Depict, but despite the ability to flag inappropriate content, things still tend to get through, so your nephew may learn a few choice words that you may not want him to.Other games like 'Battle Blasters' (maybe inappropriate for a 10 yr old) and 'Bombardiers Guild', where you are trying to destroy your opponent's "base" can be fun with two players (I believe both of these support muliplayer on the same device). With the nice weather slowly starting to show, 'Geocaching' might be a fun app to try to get outdoors together and enjoy the weather. While I haven't actually tried this app myself, I've been hearing really good things.Super Shock Football may be good too, but the app store gives it a 12+ rating, although I don't recall any profanity. Will you be playing on one iPod/iPhone or two sep devices? Two seperate devices opens up a whole bunch more opportunities with either local-wifi or bluetooth multiplayer.Good luck and have fun!
