Asmodee Digital has certainly given us a lot to be thankful for this holiday weekend.

Yesterday they kicked off a big sale on a number of their existing digital board game ports and now they’ve just released three brand new titles on iOS, Android and Steam!

Asmodee has created digital adaptations of Takenoko, Dream Home and Gang of Four™, leveraging their family-friendly universes to empower new players to discover and learn basic mechanics step-by-step.

These titles are nice gateways for deeper tactical board games and their digital adaptations offer a fun to play with family and friends of all ages.

Takenoko is priced at $4.99 and both Dream Home and Gang of Four™ are $3.99 (on iOS). Or you can save a few bucks and pick up the “Family & Friends” bundle (available only on the App Store) which includes Gang of Four™, Dream Home and Takenoko (without its optional DLC) for $9.99, a savings of $3.

Takenoko – $4.99

Introduction to tiles-&-tactics and objective completion.

Designed by Antoine Bauza, in Takenoko players take the role of courtesans of the Nippon emperor. They must take care of his Giant Panda by growing a bamboo plantation. Their mission: to farm parcels of land, irrigate them, and have green, yellow or pink bamboo grow. In turn, they see what the weather brings and perform two actions from among the following: get a new plot of land or irrigation channel, grow bamboo, feed the panda or draw an objective card.

The game ends when a player has completed 7 to 9 objectives (depending on the number of players) and the player with the best score (by adding the total value of their completed objectives) wins the game.

The optional Takenoko: Chibis DLC ($2.99) adds a second, female panda. The addition of new, different tiles for the baby pandas and additional plot tiles, cards and bamboo pieces help deepen the strategic layers of gameplay, opening new crucial choices and possibilities.

Dream Home – $3.99

Introduction to tactical thinking, draft choices and mechanics.

In Dream Home, players are attempting to build and furnish their dream homes by selecting rooms to fill their boards over the course of twelve rounds, earning points for more extravagant spaces and a functional home.

Players can hire help, get luxurious items, and stock up on handy tools with unique abilities.

At the end of the game, once all players’ houses are finished and fully furnished. The houses are compared, with each earning points based on design, functionality, roof quality and furnishings.

The player with the nicest and most comfortable house wins.

Gang of Four – $3.99

Introduction to classic card mechanics, bluffing and cunning.

Gang of Four™, developed by Days of Wonder, is an exciting game of cunning, strategy and power. The game’s premise is simple—be the first to rid yourself of all your cards and ascend to supreme power. But beware, a strategic misstep may find you struggling to survive. The game’s inventor, Lee Yih, wanted to convey the mystery, intrigue and intense struggle for power that embodied China’s past political history.

The game embodies a never-ending battle for supremacy, where the weak perish and the strong dominate. Good players, like good politicians, must show cunning, flexibility and ruthlessness.
