Over the past few years, Asmodee Digital has done an amazing job at establishing themselves as a (if not THE) premiere digital board game publisher.

They started off by uplifting and re-launching acquired Days of Wonder titles like Ticket to Ride, Small World 2. Expanded their catalog with other acquisitions like Pandemic and more.

Then continued to blow us away with amazing, beautiful and engaging original digital ports of Splendor, Potion Explosion, Colt Express, Mysterium, Onirum and Jaipur.

As a huge fan of digital board games, it is thrilling to see such a strong commitment to digital board gaming from one of the largest physical board game publishers in the industry.

While one could easily while away the days with Asmodee Digital’s existing catalog, their digital board gaming train shows no signs of stopping with 11 imminent or under development titles just announced at Gen Con for release either later this year or next.

“We’ve been overwhelmed by fan support surrounding numerous releases thus far in 2017, and are thrilled to be bringing so many more great games to the digital realm this year and next,” said Asmodee Digital. “While the breadth of our catalog is certainly a point of pride, our biggest priority is devoting all resources – time, talent and otherwise – to creating quality gameplay experiences for each and every title. Our lineup is spaced out across the next two years to ensure this outcome.”

The wonderful thing about Asmodee Digital being…well…Asmodee is the huge and varied catalog of games they have to draw from when deciding what to port to digital form. As you will see, the announced titles run the gamut when it comes to genre and complexity, and there is no doubt something that will appeal to everyone.
