In April you may recall that I posted an article about a truly revolutionary looking Kickstarter funded iPhone case called the iCache Geode.

The project received $352,918 in pledges (an amazing 705% of its goal). Lucky backers were able to pre-order a case for $159, and now iCache has announced the general availability of the case for pre-order at a price of $199.99.

Billed as the world’s first secure digital wallet for the iPhone, “The Geode has been certified ‘Made for iPhone’ by Apple and consolidates all debit, credit and loyalty cards into one simple and secure system.”

Using biometric technology and a timeout system to protect your data, the Geode stores all of your credit, debit and loyalty card information securely and readily accessible.

“We are extremely proud, after years of work by a dedicated and amazing team, to bring the world’s first mobile payment solution to market which can be used anywhere. The vision of creating a wallet which consolidated all of a consumer’s cards in a convenient and secure manner is being realized today!” said Jonathan Ramaci, Founder and CEO of iCache. “This is a celebratory day for consumers, our team and the world of mobile payments.”

You can visit the iCache website for more details or to pre-order your own Geode in one of four color combinations including the original Black/Yellow, plus Green/White (my personal favorite), Pink/White and Lavender/White for $199.99 (plus tax). The package contains the case, a card reader, the GeoCard and a micro-USB cable.
