Tomorrow is already shaping up to be another big release day for iPhone owners. New iPhone versions of Endloop’s Chicken Balls HD and Superbrothers’ Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP are releasing (tonight at 11pm EST). These two games were monster hits on the iPad, so it will be interesting to see how well they do on the the smaller form factor iDevices.

First, Endloop’s frenetically destructive puzzle game Chicken Balls lands on the iPhone tomorrow. The original iPad game Chicken Balls HD hit #1 in All iPad Games in Canada, #3 in All iPad Games in US, and Top 10 Games in over 25 countries. The best way to describe the game might be Angry Birds on an acid trip with a shot of Peggle. Players control the hero, Crash, the bravest chicken this side of New Mexico. Aliens have abducted all of Crash’s animal friends and he sets out to rescue them all from their evil clutches. Players rescue baby chicks in alien force field bubbles, collect eggs, unlock power ups and unleash the power of Farmageddon to achieve the highest scores. If you like fun fast-paced physics-based puzzle games, then you will probably love Chicken Balls. The iPhone release will cost 99¢ compared to the already available iPad release’s $1.99 price tag.

The iPhone version of Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP is appropriately titled Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP Micro. The game was originally conceived and designed with the iPhone in mind, well before the iPad even existed. Although, the developers chose to bring it to the iPad first, where it has been very well received. Come tomorrow, iPhone owners will be able to join in the adventure, experiencing Sword & Sworcery’s unique 8-bit art style and Jim Guthrie composed soundtrack. However it unfortunately appears that (at least initially) older iPhone and iPod Touch models won’t be supported due to some performance issues. The micro version will cost $2.99 compared to the already available iPad release’s $4.99 price tag.

Enjoy…tomorrow brings some exciting other new releases and updates as well, which we will fully cover in our weekly notable new releases post.
