If you follow @OTGGamer on Twitter, then you’ve probably seen our period pleas for someone to release Lemmings on the iPhone/iPod platform. Well it appears that our wishes may have (sort of) been granted by Swedish developer Polarbit. While not officially a Lemmings game, Polarbit has just released a title called Fuzzies which appears to recreate everything we loved about lemmings in a all new title with really stellar look graphics and an equally as lovable species.

Instead of lemmings, you play god over a troop of carefree monkeys as they march aimlessly over, around and through a variety of obstacles. You must assign them different jobs and abilities in order to keep them on task. This could include building stairs, digging, blocking other fuzzies, using a parachute, jumping, climbing or more. Basically all things that any Lemmings fan would expect from a game of this type.

Fuzzies features 28 levels, has some great looking cartoonish graphics and animations and is currently available on the App Store for $2.99.
