Noodlecake’s ‘RAD Boarding’ Combines Aerial Tricks, The End of Days and A Giant Bear With An Eye-patch

i_pad_07Cue the R.E.M., “It’s the end of the world as we know it…”

You are a burnt-out ’90s celebrity and the world is coming to an end, what are you supposed to do?

Grab your snowboard, throw on your shades, and go out on one final ride as the world crumbles around you….of course!

Noodlecake (Super Stickman Golf 2, Highrise Heroes) has just announced its first new mobile game of 2015, RAD Boarding. In collaboration with developer Other Ocean Interactive (Super Monkey Ball 2: Sakura Edition, NBA Rush), with support from the Canada Media Fund, Noodlecake will soon be bringing you this crazy “action packed and adrenaline fueled” downhill, trick-filled race for survival.

Rack up massive points by chaining together tricks and battle against the abominations of nature that are birthed at the end of the world! Rock out to an original, catchy 90’s-inspired soundtrack, and no matter what you do, never, EVER, stop being RAD.

The game will use a momentum system similar to that of Tiny Wings combined with a simple swipe mechanic for pulling off tricks. It looks like a fun evolution/implementation of these gameplay mechanics.

RAD Boarding will be releasing sometime in the coming weeks, but for now you can check out a gameplay trailer below.

PS. I have decided to nickname that awesome giant eye-patch wearing bear Nick Furry, so if that becomes a thing…remember you heard it here first.
