The team at Halfbrick has just released a cute teaser trailer for their next game, Bears vs Art.
It is a rhyming trailer that would make the good doctor (Seuss that is) proud as it shows a care-free happy bear (named Rory) forced out of his habitat by the construction of a huge art museum constructed by a millionaire. He swears revenge and to destroy art everywhere.
The trailer, while entertaining, doesn’t give any idea of the actual gameplay or when the game will be released. We just know that it is “comings soon”.
But I want to play right now!!!
If you are lucky enough to have either a Canadian or Australian iTunes account, then the game IS available RIGHT NOW (for free) as part of a soft launch.
According to Halfbrick’s website, “Bears vs. Art is Halfbrick’s first true puzzle game, combining elements of speed and action to create a totally new experience.”
The App Store description (and the screenshots below) reveal a few more details with regards to gameplay stating:
Plan your moves carefully or race the clock in timed challenges to destroy every painting on every wall!
Each painting is protected by sneaky security measures including lasers, spikes and mind-bending portals. Not to mention snooty guests, nosy security guards and art-snatching thieves!
