Welcome to another week of new iOS releases…

Since there are a HUGE number of notable new releases this week, I fired I’d try something a little different with this posts formatting and put the trailers on a second page to help speed up with loading. So if all you care about is watching the trailers, you can skip to page 2 and have at them.

Boy have we got some really great new releases tonight, from the long anticipated Writer Rumble (formerly known as Word Fighter) to SEGA’s iOS port of Jet Set Radio. Plus loads of other new titles from Chillingo and indie favorites like the Edis Brothers, Physmo, One Minute Games, Toca Boca and Ravensburger Digital.

Let’s kick things off with the freebies…

If you have kids, they you definitely do not want to miss out on Toca Tailor Fairy Tales, the new Fairy Tale-themed version of Toca Boca’s incredibly fun Toca Tailor app. It has all the same features as the original (which costs $1.99), but all of the accessories have fairy tale flare.

Ravensburger Digital’s Towers & Dungeons takes a slightly new twist on the Tiny Tower genre, allowing players to not only build upwards (towers) but downward (dungeons) as well. It also looks like it’s packed with adorable characters.

Next up is BattleFriends at Sea, a rather well-presented (and Free to play) asynchronous multiplayer battleship style game that can be played against your Facebook or email friends. And the final (limited-time) freebie is the stylistic and gravity-challenging puzzle platformer, Freeze!.

If you’ve got a buck to spare, then any of these nine titles look like they could put that dollar to good use.

Chillingo comes bursting out of the post-Thanksgiving gate with three new titles this week. Mini Dash is a fast-paced platformer, Sky Hero™ is a cartoony vertical falling game and possibly the most promising looking of Chillingo’s new offerings is the carnival style multiplayer word building / horse racing game Word Derby.

Speaking of word games, we finally get to see the release of Feel Every Yummy’s labor of love, Writer Rumble. I first got a hands on demo of this game at PAX East 2010 (known then as Word Fighter). Now after a few stops and starts it finally sees the light of day thanks in part to publisher GameFly (I had no idea they were in the publishing business!).

Also on tap is the latest from some popular indie devs. The Edis Brothers (of ezone.com) offer up their rather addictive level-based one-touch endless runner, Team Awesome. It is sort of a mix between Agent Dash, Temple Run and Jetpack Joyride…with superheroes and has a lot of character, well worth picking up!

On the indie docket are a couple of returning speedrun/platformer devs Physmo (Mos Speedrun) and One Minute Games (Commander Pixman). This time around Physmo tackles the top-down racer with Ghost Racer and One Minute Games temps us with an action puzzle game called Matchblocks.

Rounding out the 99¢ titles are 21 Days, a cool looking stealth path-drawing game and the underwater action of Thumbstar’s Cave Diver.

If you are willing to spend a little more, then for $1.99 you can get a copy of either the visually appealing space-age racer FLASHOUT 3D or TeamTop3’s Lead Me Home.

Last but not least is the iOS port of SEGA’s hit graffiti skating game, Jet Set Radio, featuring 29 of 30 tracks from the original Dreamcast release. Despite owning a Dreamcast, I never played the original, but for those who did, I suspect they’ll be picking it up for the nostalgia.

Well that’s all I have to say this week.
Let us know in the comments if you like this format and what new games you’ll be picking up.
